An Even Simpler Derivation of the
Power Spectrum of Full-Response CPM
- ABSTRACT:
- An alternative Markov representation of full-response
continuous phase modulation (CPM) leads to a
power-spectral expression that is a simple function of
two vectors, one representing possible symbol
waveforms and one representing possible
signaling-interval phase changes. Further, it allows
for arbitrary symbol probabilities and arbitrary
rational modulation indices.
